Anytime you’re letting a third party use your copyrighted material, you need to use a license agreement. It protects your material as it makes it clear how it can and can’t be used by the third party.
What should a license agreement look like?
A license agreement should state exactly what copyrighted materials can and can’t be used, how they can be used, and how long they can be used for. It also often grants a right of refusal to the holder of the material.
