Evoy is a leader in the development of electric propulsion systems for boats between 5 and 20 metres. The company supplies complete systems that include engines, batteries and control systems for both commercial and private boats. Thomas Mordt Kolstad, Sales Manager at Evoy, describes how digitisation and contract management with Oneflow has improved the company’s work processes. Before adopting Oneflow, Evoy experienced several challenges related to contract management, especially for NDAs and order confirmations. “We handled a lot manually – from printing and signing to scanning and archiving,” says Kolstad, adding that it was particularly challenging when customers did not have their own order systems. Evoy often had to deal with orders via email or POs, which felt less secure than legally binding contracts.
The transition to Oneflow has made the processes considerably more efficient, and the company has noticed a big improvement in both the speed of signatures and the structure of the document flow.

Seamless implementation and full control
When Evoy had to choose a new contract management system, there were several key criteria that had to be met. Senior VP Finance, Terje Grøneng, elaborates that seamless integration with Salesforce, use of templates and dynamic documents, as well as tagging for archiving, were among the most important requirements. Grøneng explains that Oneflow was initially a more limited system, but that it has since gained several of the functions Evoy needed, such as version control and notifications about expiry and renewal of agreements. “Oneflow offered a holistic solution that met all our needs, unlike our previous solutions, which only covered the signing process itself. We had to handle all preparatory work and archiving manually outside the system.”
The implementation of Oneflow was quick and painless, according to Grøneng, and new users got started without any problems. “We received good feedback from everyone involved, and the system works very smoothly for all parties,” says Grøneng, adding that Oneflow is currently used in all signature processes at Evoy. The system has created a more efficient and transparent workflow, which the company values highly.

Streamlining and time savings
By adopting Oneflow, Evoy has saved significant time, especially in the administration of NDAs. The digital process removes the need for printing and scanning, which has made the contract flow both faster and more efficient. “Being able to only send out NDAs via Oneflow saves a lot of time. It is incredibly flexible for all parties, and makes it faster to get started with the important collaboration.”

User experience, functionality and collaboration
Oneflow has been well received by Evoy employees, not least because of the platform’s user-friendliness and functionality. “It’s very intuitive – people understand Oneflow straight away. I especially appreciate that documents can be tagged and saved in the right folder straight away, and that we can use templates to save time.” Kolstad also highlights the AI-driven functionality that helps with automation: “Some employees particularly like the AI function that comes with suggestions before dispatch, which saves us both time and work.”
Oneflow has also improved collaboration across departments in Evoy by ensuring increased visibility in contract processes. “Now all departments involved, such as sales, HR and purchasing, have access to relevant documents. It is easy to see who has signed what, and we know exactly where the signed agreements are located.”
Future perspectives and success with Oneflow
Thomas is convinced that Oneflow will be an important supporter in Evoy’s growth ambitions: “Our goal is to scale and become a large global company. Having a seamless and efficient way of handling contracts will be crucial to being able to grow without being weighed down by administration.”
Evoy has experienced great value in using Oneflow, especially when it comes to collaboration agreements with large partners. One of the most prominent examples is the conclusion of a framework agreement with one of their largest partners: “One of our largest partners signed the entire framework agreement through Oneflow. Now they have also become part of the ownership side of the company. This shows how digital contract management has helped us secure long-term collaboration.”
