From diamonds to data: building a connected SaaS ecosystem
Founded by Ruud van der Kruk, Ynze Sipkema, Jelke Jansen, and Chris Ouwinga, Blinqx began with a clear mission: help businesses grow smarter through data and technology. The founders – who previously built and sold Fiscaal Gemak to Unit4 – acquired DIAS (Diamant Assurantie Software) in 2019 and started consolidating the fragmented Dutch SaaS market.
When investor HG joined in 2022, expansion accelerated. A year later, DIAS Group became Blinqx, reflecting its evolution from an insurance software company into a broader SaaS ecosystem serving accountancy, legal, and finance sectors. The name pays homage to its diamond roots – shining light on connected business software.
Today, Blinqx is headquartered in Barendrecht, Netherlands, with 10+ offices, over 600 employees, and more than 200,000 users across the Benelux.
We spoke to Ruud Martens, Sales Operations Manager at Blinqx, who’s responsible for ensuring that their commercial teams can focus on what matters most: selling. By optimizing processes, tools, and data insights, he makes sure that the fast-growing organization scales efficiently and sustainably.
The challenge: growing fast, contracting slow
As Blinqx expanded, so did its portfolio of tools and processes. What started as a structured setup in Word, PDF, and DocuSign at DIAS worked well in the beginning. But as new companies joined the group – each bringing their own templates, tools, and approval flows – the process quickly became complex.
“Our old process created challenges in legal consistency, compliance, and control. Multiple tools and versions slowed things down and increased error risk. Each acquisition added its own templates and workflows, reducing speed and efficiency.”
Instead of one unified workflow, Blinqx found itself juggling different systems and manual handovers between teams. Updates had to be managed across several formats, and even small changes required extra steps to stay compliant.
The result:
- Inconsistent templates and fragmented systems
- Extra manual work to keep processes aligned across business units
- Slower deal cycles as the company scaled
“It wasn’t just slowing the team down, it was holding the business back. We needed a way to automate without losing control.”
It became clear Blinqx needed one secure, unified, and stable process to keep up with the company’s expanding operations.
The solution: Oneflow x Salesforce
When Blinqx started looking for a new solution in 2022–2023, they evaluated several vendors, but Oneflow stood out for its seamless Salesforce integration, ease of use and scalability.
“We chose Oneflow over other providers because of its seamless integration with Salesforce, easy maintenance, and simple setup. It allowed us to connect our sales process directly with contract management – fast, reliable, and scalable for our growing organization.”
Key selection criteria:
- Ease of use
- Integration possibilities
- Scalability
The decision was made jointly by Ruud Martens and the CCO, ensuring both technical fit and commercial alignment.
Implementation was smooth, and Blinqx could maintain everything in-house. The rollout required minimal onboarding, with support from Oneflow for Salesforce setup and some tips and tricks in template design.
“Being a software company, our digital maturity is high. We adopt new tools quickly, and everyone was happy with Oneflow from the start.”
How it works: Salesforce + Oneflow in action
Blinqx’s Salesforce integration powers the entire contract lifecycle. Here’s how:
- Opportunity creation: Products, customer, and contact are selected in Salesforce.
- Approval & send: After approval in Salesforce, the opportunity is sent to Oneflow via an iframe.
- Template automation: All data syncs automatically into the correct Oneflow template.
- E-signature: The document is sent to the customer for signing.
- Deal closed: Once signed, Salesforce automatically updates the opportunity to Closed Won, locks all fields, and attaches the signed document.
This process now powers 200+ quotes per month, plus around 200+ finance agreements (e.g. SEPA forms) per year.
We estimate that Oneflow saves us around 40% of the time we used to spend on contract work. The difference is night and day

Who uses Oneflow at Blinqx
- Sales → Quotes and proposals
- Finance → SEPA and payment agreements
- Legal → UBO forms and entity changes
Even beyond traditional sales contracts, teams have found creative ways to use Oneflow; such as updating financial agreements when clients change legal entities or payment methods.
“We currently have around 20 templates in production across three business units and the finance department. After signing, the deal closes automatically in Salesforce and the signed doc attaches to the opportunity.”
The results: measurable efficiency and control
Since implementing Oneflow, Blinqx has turned a fragmented contract process into a seamless digital flow.
Quantified results
- 50% time savings on creating, sending, and reporting quotes
- 30% faster quote-to-sign turnaround
- 20% faster conversion rate
- 200+ quotes automated per month
- 200+ finance agreements handled yearly through Oneflow
“We estimate that Oneflow saves us around 40% of the time we used to spend on contract work. The difference is night and day.”
With Oneflow integrated into Salesforce, contracts now live exactly where the sales team works. Templates are unified, approvals are automatic, and reporting happens in real time.
“We create more deals in less time, and the process just works. No news from customers or employees usually means everything’s fine, which is the best kind of feedback.”
The outcome: scaling with confidence
Growth at Blinqx isn’t just about numbers – it’s about creating something that lasts. As they continue to expand across Europe, with new companies joining the group, the goal is to connect people, processes, and technology under one shared vision. With Oneflow’s Salesforce integration, Blinqx has transformed its contract process from slow and manual to fast, digital, and scalable.
“As we scale, Oneflow will continue to play an important role in streamlining our sales and contract processes.” Ruud says.
Now, every contract flows seamlessly from creation to signature, freeing teams to focus on what they do best: driving growth through smart data. The real value shows in the day-to-day; smoother collaboration, less manual work, and more time for what really matters.
“If the business case is similar to ours, I would definitely recommend Oneflow. The Salesforce integration, automation, and reliability make it a great fit for growing organizations.”
