Signing methods
Electronic signatures are a convenient, cost-effective, and secure method for obtaining signatures on digital documents. E-signatures hold legal validity in most countries worldwide, carrying equal legal weight and effect as traditional ink or handwritten signatures.
Oneflow’s Signing methods
1. Electronic Identification (AdES)
Enabling electronic IDs allows you and your counterparties to sign your documents with an additional layer of safety and identification. Oneflow partners with different brokers to provide secure and reliable Electronic IDs and advanced signatures in a wide range of countries.
2. Standard e-signature (SES)
The default signature setting in Oneflow is the standard e-signature. This is the most commonly utilized form of electronic signatures, allowing you to sign with a simple click of a button through a secure, encrypted link.
3. SMS-verification (SES)
The recipient will receive an SMS containing a 6-digit code, which they will use to verify their identity during the document signing process. To utilize this signing method, you need to input the recipient’s phone number and have the SMS extension activated in your Oneflow account.
4. Handwritten signature (SES)
A handwritten signature, often referred to as a wet ink signature, is suitable for cases where you prefer the signatory to provide their signature directly on the same device they are using. With this method, you can physically draw or write your signature, and it carries the same legal validity as a standard electronic signature (SES).
